COMMITTEE ON ENFORCED DISAPPEARANCES

On 30 August 2021, the Government of Mexico accepted the visit of the Committee on Enforced Disappearances requested since 2013.

As indicated in the Committee's Newsletter dated 11 October 2021, the visit will be carried out by a delegation of four experts of the Committee, together with representatives of the Secretariat of the Committee, from 15 to 27 November 2021.

During this period, the members of the Delegation will meet with competent State party authorities, as well as with victims, civil society organisations, collectives and other relevant actors.

In order to cover as many places, institutions and actors as possible in the limited time of the visit, the Delegation will be divided into teams.

The meetings will be organised in Mexico City and in the states to be visited. Therefore, the Committee requires that you provide the following information:

  • The name of the organisation, collective or actor submitting the information or request;
  • Name and contact details;
  • Location;
  • Topics you would like to address at the meeting.
