Illicit financial flows and asset recovery  

The Human Rights Council and its subsidiary mechanisms have been seized with the issue of illicit financial flows and asset recovery since 2011.

The most recent work has been undertaken by the Independent Expert on the effects of foreign debt and other related international financial obligations of States on the full enjoyment of all human rights, particularly economic, social and cultural rights and the Human Rights Council Advisory Committee.
