Public consultation on the right to health of older persons
The Special Rapporteur on the right of everyone to the highest attainable standard of physical and mental health, Anand Grover, invites States, relevant United Nations agencies, national human rights institutions and other relevant stakeholders to participate in the public consultation on the right to health of older persons.
The objective of this consultation is to enable interested parties to submit information and comments to the Special Rapporteur, who was mandated by the Human Rights Council (resolution 15/22, para 11-12) to prepare a report on the realization of the right to health of older persons, including the main existing challenges and best practices.
Please make your submissions (in English, French or Spanish) by completing the enclosed questionnaire and emailing it to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights on email@example.com.

The Special Rapporteur will hold a follow-up public consultation on the right to health of older persons on Friday, 8 April 2011, in Room XII, Palais des Nations, Geneva.
