The Human Rights Council (as well as the previous Commission on Human Rights) and the General Assembly have regularly adopted resolutions on internally displaced persons (IDPs) or on “Human rights and mass exodus” concerning both IDPs and refugees.
Both the Human Rights Council (and previous Commission) and the General Assembly have also passed many resolutions on other topics that are relevant to IDPs.
