Revealing the Child Faces of Modern Slavery: Expert Panel on the International Day for the Abolition of Slavery 2016

On 2 December 2016, on the 25th anniversary of the Fund, we held an expert panel discussion featuring practitioners and professionals who provide assistance to survivors of slavery in different regions of the world.

The event was attended by representatives from over 50 Member States, civil society, UN entities and the general public. Australia and Germany contributed financially for its organization. A public debate followed the panellists’ presentations.
